Lotus hair is completed! Yayyy!

Hey guys. I finally finished rooting Lotus Stoete.  I just have to do her finishing touches now such as glue hair, set eyes, seal & texture etc & put together.  Excuse the camera phone picture.  It was late when I finished & didn't feel like breaking out the good camera.  She's not put together yet so excuse the weird pose as well.

Happy Saturday Everyone!

I'm dropping in to say hello & to update you on some things.  I've received many request of private orders.  Unfortunately, I'm booked until October.  I'm not adding names to the list because that is when I start taking orders for Xmas babies for 2014.  So I'm officially closing my private order list.  If I'm able to open a slot, I'll be sure to let you know.

Secondly, I had a bunch of reborn mishaps this week!!  I completely melted my keeper baby Sarah Lyn & I ran out of hair for Lotus.  I all but cried when Sarah Lyn melted because I've been holding on to her for years!  She's IMPOSSIBLE to find.  Thankfully I have a backup but I'm nervous about restarting her.  Tip of the week:  DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN BABIES ARE IN THE OVEN!

My next mishap was running out of hair for Lotus!  I wanted to finish her rooting by today & I only have a 50cent piece left.  Unfortunately, I have to order some more hair & Lotus will have to wait.  But in the meantime, Little Miss Florian jumped ahead of schedule & I began her rooting.  She's such a cutie pie.  I've just began her front perimeter but I hope to have her rooting finish by next Saturday.  She's a dream to root!  Her vinyl is so very soft & takes the hair very well.  I'm actually enjoying the process (Go Figure)! lol.  Anyway, I hope you guys have a wonderful weekend.

Hey guys.  I'm just dropping in giving an update on a private order.  Her mommy doesn't mind me showing progress photos.  I just began her brows & painting her hair.  She'll have a head full of rooted hair as well.  Toodles...

Quick update. I'm rooting away on my private orders & working on another Bluebell by Romie Strydom.  Her new mommy wanted her a bi-racial color.  This is my interpretation.  I still have a long ways to go.  Nite guys

AA, Ethnic, Biracial Janine by Romie Strydom

Hi everyone.  I'm just dropping in to update you on my babies in production.  I'm currently working on an AA Janine by Romie Strydom.  She's so adorable!  I'm loving her beautiful chocolate skin!  She was created using my signature skin palette Chestnut Almond Berry.  I have to admit that her brows are giving me hell!  They aren't set but I'm still trying to figure out how I want to place them.  I can't wait to see how she turns out.  

 

I have about 8 customs to finish up before March & I'm rooting until my fingers are raw!  I'll share photos once I get the ok from their new mommy.
